What you will find here

Each incident shows its type (Road closed, Accident, Congestion, Obstruction, Weather…), the road and kilometre point, the town and region, the affected direction and since when it applies. Incidents marked as scheduled have not started yet: they are closures announced in advance, sporting events or roadworks.

From Germany we have reports from the traffic centres of every state except Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt: motorways, federal and state roads and, in many cities, city streets. The missing states are being added gradually.

The data comes from official sources (Landesmeldestelle Baden-Württemberg, Verkehrsinformationszentrale Berlin (VIZ), Landesbetrieb Straßenbau NRW (LVZ.NRW), Bayerische Straßenbauverwaltung (VIZ-BY), Landesmeldestellen über VIZ.NRW, Landesmeldestelle Hamburg, Landesmeldestelle Schleswig-Holstein, Landesmeldestelle Berlin). GasBu does not change the content of the incidents; it only classifies them and translates the codes of the European DATEX II standard.
