Fuel prices in Cyprus: where petrol is cheapest by district and brand

Since 8 October, GasBu also shows fuel prices in Cyprus: 314 petrol stations with the prices published by the Retail Fuel Price Observatory of the Consumer Protection Service. Whether you live on the island or are picking up a hire car at Larnaca or Paphos, here is what the data says: which district is cheapest, which brand has the lowest prices, and how much you save by choosing the right station in your own town.

Second, the gap between stations is small compared with other countries: 14 cents between the cheapest and the most expensive station on the island for unleaded 95, or €7 on a 50-litre tank.

🧾 The reduced excise duty ends on 30 November

Current prices include an excise duty cut of 8.33 cents per litre on unleaded and diesel, which the government extended until 30 November 2026. With VAT, that is about 10 cents at the pump. Unless it is extended again, petrol and diesel will go up by about 10 cents a litre from 1 December, so it is worth filling up at the end of November.
